The RocketRAID 644L is HighPoint’s 2nd Generation 4-Port 6Gb/s eSATA PCI-Express 2.0 x4 6Gb/s RAID HBA. This cost-effective, SATA 6Gb/s performance RAID controller is ideal for both desktop and workstations environments, and is compatible with PC and Mac platforms. The 4-independent 6Gb/s eSATA ports directly support 4 SATA hard drives or SSD’s and up to 20 when used with Port Multiplier capable eSATA storage enclosures. The RocketRAID 644L supports a wide-range of storage configurations including RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, JBOD and single drives.
